Mom's Style.

I love vintage style. ^.^
My mom is my inspiration when dress up in retro look.
Paisley pattern is one of my mom fashion favor.
I was inspired by her, which has also made a Paisley explosion in my closet ^.^
The paisley design originally came from India, it was brought to Scotland in the early
19th century - where it received its name*.
(*The print was named after the Scottish town of Paisley, where printed cotton and
wool fabrics were heavily manufactured. )
Paisley print is an instantly recognizable patten that resembles a swirling teardrop shape.
Beautiful color combination of Paisley print make this vintage blouse look interesting.
Match it with another mom style fashion - high-waisted style in polka dots.
Paisley with Polka dots?
Yea, mixing and matching pattern is the peek of chic!
Though high-waisted is actually the natural waist on a woman,
wearing high-waisted pants can be figure flattering.
High-waisted shorts are undeniably chic while make our legs look a mile long ^.^
Make sure to tuck in the top & show waistline else is pointless wearing a high-waisted pants.
The timeless Casio gold watches never fail to complement a retro chic style ^.^
Vintage chain belt and bag are completed the Totally Mom Style look.
Pairing heels in wooden accents for more earthy touch.
Happy shopping days!

Turquoise Thursday.

Woke up late today and I need to get ready in less than 30 minutes!
(Manage to took some outfit shots while toasting bread for my breakfast)
Wearing simple yet stylish to make sure no one should able
to tell that I'm rushed in the morning ^.^
Pick up an interest piece to match with a basic piece.
Floral shirt blazer is definitely a statement!
Style it with simple bottom and let the blazer be the focus.
Skirt in turquoise is to match the floral print color palette.
Tint of turquoise color have a sweet feminine touch & sophisticated feel.
I love turquoise as it never fails to refresh a look.
I always have time to add some jewelry to my outfit ^.^
As accessories make the outfit.
The stripes purse perfectly match the overall color tone.
Fun combination of stripes & floral patterns really bring the outfit to life ^.^
Complete the quick-to-go look with a pair of heels in nude color .
Nude pumps is such a neutral color that match with almost anything!
I'm all set. Ciao.

Layering Thoughts.

Time to get back to my busy life again after a great vacation.
Busy working, eating, playing... & not forget to blogging ^.^
Today will be another busy day for me since i have some plans throughout the day.
A meeting in the morning, follow by an semi-formal event then a birthday party at night...
All i need is an outfit that can fit me running around all day while staying stylish ^.^
Art of Layering is the key!
Mix & match clothing pieces from my closet to style some possible combination.
Layer pieces from different style could make an outfit look more interesting ^.^
A perfectly layered look can give the outfit more depth while
allow us to express our personal style.
Keep the under-layer more fitted to avoid looking too bulky when layered.
Here I start with a basic solid asymmetrical dress in purple.
Layering with a buttoned-up chambray shirt for an edgy style.
Contrast between colors & textures are definitely the twist of layering!
Be bold, add an embellished collar necklace to glam up the look.
A belt is needed to keep the silhouette looking slim ^.^
Good Morning Sunshine!
