Family Day.

Family dinner today was most certainly a love-up affair ^.^

It's my Grandma's birthday, so we have a special family birthday dinner!

We went for a traditional chinese food at an amazing restaurant by the lake in KL.

Since all the members of the family will be present, so everything must look perfect.

As family feasts are twice the fun when the decorating & dressing are perfectly done!

For the outfit, I  will need something elegant but yet still
comfortable enough to play around with those kids.

I think this lovely abstract look floral dress is perfect for the beautiful festive night.

Mix & match some jewelry in same toned to avoid looking too fancy since its a family meeting.

The necklace and the footwear do flattering my outfit.

I was really enjoy to spend my time with my beloved family in such a 

cozy & relaxed atmosphere ^.^

It was really a great night ever!

Baggy Breton.

Everyone should have a couple of lovely stripes garment in their closet.

As stripes can be style in so many fabulous ways. (here)

If you are not wearing horizontal stripes to avoid looking wider, you should have give it a try. 

Actually stripes look great on any body ^.^

Timeless, elegant & chic breton stripes has an incredible fashion history.

Coco Chanel first introduced The Breton Stripes to the fashion world 

was inspired by the uniform of French sailors.

Apparently the stripes shirt created to made sailor easier to spot when fell overboard.

I love stripes as they are very casual, versatile & easy to wear.

As casual does not equate to boring ^.^

Baggy trousers play up a street vibe of the look.

This slouchy pants are more boyish chic & look like from my man's closet.

Rocker Fruit Kingdom.

'Makanlah Buah-Buahan Tempatan' is an art exhibition featuring collaborative endeavor of 

local creative individuals to promote local fruits. 

This exhibition featuring over 40 Malaysian artists and designers. 

It showcases how they reinterprete the theme 'Makanlah Buah-Buahan Tempatan' and 

mixing the use of visual and imagery senses together into one group exhibition.

In this exhibition, Herbie & Koey are privileged to be invited as a contributing artist group, 

under the alto ego of Ketchup & The Caveman. 

And this is how the story of the work goes:

Once upon a time, in a kingdom not so far away (since we're doing local fruits) 

where fruits rule the land, two weavers from Rambutan were brainstorming on the brief 

they just received from the King & Queen to style a party for the annual royal ball:

"Lat's du sumting about the Rockal Floot..."

"You mean local fruits?"

"Rockal Floot!"

"Rocker Fruits?"

"Watdewer."

"Any ideas?"

"Wi kan make a cop porn with floot favor."

"You mean pop corn with fruit flavor."

"Dats wat I sait wat."

"Should we have studs & spikes?"

"U min on da cop porn?"

"No, on the Rocker floots, I mean fruits. I don't think corn is consider as a fruit."

"hokaye~"

And so they went ahead & present the idea to the Queen & 
got squashed as mocktails for the ball.

Review: Socks Surprise.

Wearing socks with wedges or heels can look great if paired correctly.

An outfit will look surprise with the present of socks ^.^

This is my first outfit playing with socks & will definitely try for more. (here)

Treasure Trove.

Found this lovely knit dress from mom's wardrobe, it was hidden treasure indeed!

She was wearing this beautiful piece at my age or earlier...

Wearing old piece is like a sensation of touch with old time ^.^

My bf's wardrobe is another treasure trove for me!

I love to digging up and look at something that I could wear from his wardrobe.

Never disappoint me every time exploring in his closet - discovered this army green jacket!

According to him, it was bought in Bangkok more than 10 years ago...

So don't throw away your preloved clothing, they can be a treasure later ^.^

The truth is a fashion trend will repeat itself in about 10 years+ or more.

This oversize outwear is an oldie but goodie piece since it's look pretty cool, isn't it?

Military jacket is a boyish piece that can instantly add a character to our personality 

Here i combine my mom's white dress with my bf's old jacket to create an interesting contrast.

Wearing military jacket over a little knit dress is a great way in balancing the 

masculine & the feminine look.

Planning to stay over at my friend's place after the Friday night happy hour ^.^

Hence an oversized military style backpack (from my bf) is a perfect carry on bag.

Wearing some cool & bright colors jewelries to add a chic touch to the look.
