Today outfit is about clashing print.

Guess what? I found this lovely top from my bf's old wardrobe in store room.

Yea, I know I always did that...but this piece is different!

Can you believe this checkered top was from his mom?

As usual, he keep anything thats look cool ^.^

(try imagine how his store room look like? well there're my treasure trove! )

The truth is checkerboard was a must-have piece for every woman in the nostalgic past.

What made checkered pattern so intriguing?

I suppose it's the retro feminine vibe it transpires ^.^

While black & white colors are mainly predominant 

when it comes to iconic checkered look,

infusing vibrant color into checkered giving the ensemble 

a more chic & eye-catching appeal.

Team up checkered with stripes is a way to add pattern and personality to the outfit.

Navy stripes on magenta,

 a standout two-toned skirt to match the colorful checkerboard shirt.

This geometry neon necklace from Vincci is the perfect way to add 

a little sunshine to the look.

Delightful purse in stripes is always my good match for those stripes style wear.

A neon orange belt and socks to create an even more striking visual appearance ^.^

Fashion is about fun and the mix of checkered print with 

other patterns are amusing!

Double Checker.

Here the paper doll design for my outfit of the day (O.O.T.D).

Today outfit is matchy-matchy ^.^

Though I would let my creativity run wild by mixing and
matching different checkered prints.

Matching separate pieces with similar pattern (same family) give an outfit
a sense of uniformity, which look extremely chic ^.^

The "oldie but goodie" perfectly describes bringing the plaid trend back.

This plaid shirt was found in my bf's wardrobe (again!).

According to him, this Padini's shirt is a vintage piece from his uncle.

Aged more then 20+ years, if he remember correctly...

Pair with pants in smaller checkered texture (can't really tell in the photos!)
for a more linear look.

As doubling up on geometric pattern can be wonderfully sleek.

Complete the outfit with belt and ribbon necklace in shade of gold, while

keeping others (loafer, socks and bags) into earthy brown tone.

Basically, when wearing an all over print just make sure the print isn't too large.

Just keep our statement piece bold while keeping the rest of the outfit shaded ^.^

Checkered style definitely be one of those trend we need to reinvent.

Timeless Denim Jacket.

Is a lovely windy day ^.^

Going to watch a movie & dinner with my friends.

A denim jacket is perfect for a breezy day out.

Denim jacket seems never goes out of style,

maybe it's because denim goes well with almost everything.

Layering with tank top and over-the-knee skirt for a casual day & night out look.

The key is team up light blue jacket with basic white top & 

pair with darker shade blue for bottom.

Don't be afraid to mix girly piece with harsher fabric like denim ^.^

A metal horse necklace in sweet pink definitely add an extra flair to the street wear.

There is no better way to show off your personal fashion style than 

with a statement necklace.

Compliment the look with Casio's Solar Powered Digital watch (my all time favorite) & 

cool design rings from Lovisa.

I'm ready to go by step out with pair of classic white sneakers & 

stylish yet practical tote bag.

Children often like to use pencils and paper to invent their own games and toys.

And the same goes for me ^.^

My favorite game to play when I was a kid, was paper doll.

Paper doll is an amazing dress up game for girls!

In case you don't know about paper doll since you're too young ^.^

Paper dolls are figures cut out of paper or thin card, with separate clothes,
also made of paper, that are usually held onto the dolls by folding tabs.

I always wanted to have my own version of paper doll feature my daily wear.

To give myself a cool makeover and style my own wardrobe.

Outfit of the day (O.O.T.D) is about matching my favorite stripes with striped!

Striped Tee found from my bf's wardrobe was surprisingly 

matched my envelope clutch ^.^

Mickey's head socks are so cute to wear on and 

will definitely catch some attention ^.^

We're never too old to play with paper game, I suppose ^.^

Delicate, feminine and intricate - Lace is one of Spring most romantic trend.

I love lace as lace makes every woman feel graceful and slightly seductive ^.^

One of the greatest features of lace is that it can be styled to look super-sweet, 

or it can be styled to look edgy and cool.

This season, colored lace is a great alternative to the classic black and white.

As colored lace make quite a statement.

Go for structured lace for creating a defined silhouette.

Classic cut skirt in sturdier lace fabric look the most sophisticated.

Is a cozy afternoon on Wednesday.

Going to meet up my friends for lunch and movie.

There's nothing more comfy then wearing sleepwear -

the uniform for descending into the dream world.

To capture the sleepwear-as-daywear, the key is to distinguish the outfit from the bedroom.

Swerve anything that looks too cozy, so avoid baggy but tailored.

Pyjamas set was a clear hit.

The comfy set has recently made appearances outside of the bedroom.

But really, It was suitably tricky to wear together yet delightful as separate.

Though mismatched pair with unexpected piece do have their charm.

To play jammy jam safer, contrast are our friend.

So pair the pyjamas piece with something that we wouldn't wear to bed!
