Dear dolls, here another paper doll design for my OOTD.

Today make a little bit different, as I'm pairing 3 outfits which could
take me from day to night on my best friend wedding day.

亲娃，这是于我每日服饰穿搭而设计的另一款纸娃玩意儿。

今天要为茄纸打造出席好友结婚日的三套从早到晚的照型转变。

From the morning pre-ceremony garden party (outfit 1),

 to the group activity of taking fun tour at the engaged couple's hometown (outfit 2) 

then follow by the cocktail crazy fun party (outfit 3).

从早上的结婚仪式花园派对（照型一），紧接是与好友们结伴游览新婚夫妻的家乡（照型二），
最后就是大家最爱的狂欢鸡尾酒派对（照型三）。

The thing is, we don't have enough time to run home in between for costume changeover.

Thus, think about pieces versatile enough that can be dressed up and down.

Opt for simple wardrobe staples - shirt, chambray and pencil skirt,
let play the mix and match game with accessories.

Tips: The more versatile the piece, the easier it will be to style.

问题在于这紧凑的行程里，没有太多的时间可以让我们玩变装。

因此，易搭的基本时尚单品在这无缝切换的行程间是非常实用的！

选择简约大方的衣橱白搭单品如白底衬衫，丹宁衬衫和一条铅笔裙装，加上造型饰品碰撞出喜庆的火花。
有趣的服饰对对碰造型变化游戏即将开始。

Putting all the pieces into satchel bag and I'm going to join the 

bridesmaid at 5 a.m with my bathrobe. Cheers~

Layer up with classic chain print outerwear for some luxe and baroque touch.

Go bright colors head-to-toe by layering different shades in the same palette.

Hence, layered a lace blazer over the lace top with a tube in similar tone underneath,

Ketchup x Rejected.

A Misfit For An Exhibition Entitle: Rejected

Dear dolls, here's an artwork done years ago as a tribute to Michael Jackson 

when his death devastated the world on 5 June 2009. 

二零零九年六月五号麦可杰克森的死讯让世人痛心。

化伤感为力量，沉着思念完成这幅作品以向万人敬仰的流行音乐之王致敬。

He is an artist who really took care of his craft till the most immaculate detail. 

The moral: If you take your craft seriously enough, it'll become immortal.

 MJ是一名追求完美细节的天才艺术家。

他给茄纸的启示是：对本身的创作给予足够的重视，作品会将不朽。

While the world widely sees MJ as a misfit, this work was composed then as a
personal remembrance, and later added with words inspired from MJ's song titles. 

当你我都在仰慕MJ的才华，世界也同时视他为异类而排斥他。

七年后（同为六月），一个名为RE:JECTED的艺术展览招致我们＊一同参与。

And how convenient and coincident it was when an art exhibition 

entitled: RE:JECTED invited us* to take part on June 2016.

(*In this exhibition, Herbie & Koey are privileged to be invited as a contributing 

artist duo, under the alto ego of Ketchup & The Caveman.)

被垂弃的MJ跟主题不谋而合，特地为这旧作加上以MJ曲目而启发的标题，使这更能充分表达RE:JECTED的含义。

＊在这展览，Herbie & Koey（或称Ketchup & The Caveman）很荣幸的以创作组合被邀请参展。

For you dolls who are interested in the RE:JECTED project, it is a group exhibition 

featuring 'rejected' or unpublished projects from 22 Malaysian graphic designers,

 with art pieces intensionally printed on tarpaulin bunting to fit the theme. 

献于感兴趣的娃儿们；RE:JECTED是个集合了二十二名马来西亚平面设计师的作品群展。
这展览集聚着设计师们“被否定”或无缘面世的作品，让它们重见天日，予大众分享。

Ketchup x Homework:Japan

The Power of Imagination

Dear dolls, here's Ketchup's participation in Homework:Japan/Greetings:Japan.
 An exhibition exchange event featuring art assignments by
Osaka Designers’ College (ODC) and poster art by Malaysian designers via
Dasein Academy of Art.

亲娃，这是茄纸参与的一个缘自跨国创意交流衍生的学术性展览。作品来自日本的
大阪设计师学院(Osaka Designers' College)，达尔尚艺术学院创意部同人志主办，
兼客串展出一系列平面设计作品，呈现一项异国风情的插画习作，
而共同的展览主题就以“功课：日本”直接而平实的命名。



In this exhibition, Ketchup is invited as a contributing artist. 

It's privilege indeed for me to showcase my illustration style while
 paying tribute tothe exhibition from Japan.

很荣幸成为其中一名受邀的本土设计师，为这次的日系作品展览贡献一幅茄纸风格的绘画创作。

This illustration piece is to express the power of imagination

in a (Japanese)student's mind.

茄纸展览的画作，是寄予表达（日本）学生脑子里无穷的想像力。

This piece allows me to draw freely upon Ketchup's imagination.

然而透过绘画过程，可任凭我随性遨游在茄纸天马行空的创造力中。

This art piece mimics the page of a Japanese coloring book, inviting the
viewers topen their minds and participate to complete the homework.

这作品摹拟日本填色本，想鼓励大众开放思想，邀观者透过创意填色互动共同完成这习作。
