Downsized Perfectly.

This lovely 'fitted' sweater dress in purple was bought in baggy size.
Originally is an oversized dress with length below the knee.
I usually wear it with sneakers in street style look.
"Honey, I shrunk the purple wool dress!"
Yes, this is what my bf told me when he mistakenly thrown my lovely dress into the washer >.<
Thanks god that was oversized, so it shrank to the right size now ^.^
As seen it has shrunk to nearly two sizes, from size Large to Small.
(So bad i don't have photo to show the original look of this baggy sweater dress)
Unbelievably, the sweater is now thicker yet softer then before.
Even the knitting pattern on the dress become more visible & firm.
The sweater dress changed its style from baggy-street to office-appropriate.
To avoid wool sweater shrink to nearly doll-size, we have to be very careful when clean it.
Wool will shrink easily when get wet, so use a mild soap instead.
Anyway, if you accidentally ruin your favorite sweater, you might not be totally out of luck.
Shrunken wool can sometimes be restored by soak it in a tub of cool water & hair conditioner,
then try to pull it back into original size.
Overlay the sweater dress on a white blouse with embroidery detail on the collar.
Compliment the pretty collar with a trendy perspex necklace.
Carrying my favorite hand woven bag from my super grandma to complete the knitting style.
Pairing bright socks to add a splash of color to the white sneakers.
Enjoy your holiday!
