Goodbye 2013.

Hey girls, hope you all have a wonderful holiday ^.^
And Happy New Year to all of you!
2013 been a year of madness busy for me,  wish I could keep myself busy on year 2014!
I wish you all the best of the BEST for the coming New Year.
I'm gonna spend my New Yea's Eve with my dear friends.
Dinner in Japanese restaurant and follow with count down party at my friend's house.
Goodbye mini dress, hello maxi ^.^
The longer the better! Maxi dresses are perfect for any occasion.
Maxi dresses are something we can simply throw it on and go.
Everyone love maxi as it so flexible yet flattering ^.^
Floral print has been around for more than a year, and the trend just keep on blooming
If florals are too sunny (or girly) for you, think the dark side.
There's something about dark floral prints that screams femininity with dose of mystery.
Think floral floating around in black & white palette, the perfect balance between delicate and tough.
An all over floral print maxi in timeless black and white is a statement piece on its own.
So, let the dress be the focus while glam up the look with minimal accessories.
Adding any accessory can personalize an outfit and make it your own style ^.^
Matching a thin belt to accentuate the waistline, while skulls jewelries are dark, edgy and luxe.
The front split is a sexy twist to the maxi which normally covered our legs.
I did wear a pair of stretchy tight shorts under the dress...just in case ^.^
This year has come to end and it will take away all the pain and mistakes.
Now we have a brand new beginning to look forward to.
Happy New Year (Eve), with love from Ketchup!

Merry X'mas Everybody.

Ho ho ho! Merry X'mas my dear readers ^.^
Thank you all for being such wonderful friends here on Ketchup's fashion blog ^.^
Well year of 2013 is nearly over and is time to celebrate X'mas!
Just wanted to post before all the fun starts today!
Can't wait for the party to begin! ho ho ho
This festive, forget clashing prints - stylish girls are all about matching tops to their bottoms.
Head-to-toe in same prints can be as chic as a little kid ^.^
Yea, I used to stayed away from being matchy-matchy once I growing up...
Even I bought a matching set, I tried wear them separately to avoid the fashion faux pas.
But this perfectly paired ensembles is now considered as a trend, there're a lot of design available.
From crop top with skirt to shorts or tailored suit, and I'm loving it ^.^

Is definitely an ideal pair of outfit for girls with little time to get dress (like me).
Matchy-matchy is no longer a fashion trouble, but double joy indeed.
Here I have a crop top with a matching high-waisted skirt in polka dots textured fabric.
A statement necklace is a bold and youth twist on a matching set.
The power of the cherry necklace is strong as it alter the look to something really festive fun.
So keep others accessories to minimal & let the necklace speak for itself.
Beaded clutch from mom paired with my favorite stylish spiky red shoes.
Contrast between vintage piece with modern can be interesting.

Finally, Merry X'mas & Happy holiday to all of my blog's friends. ho ho ho!

Authentic Nostalgia.

Florals are all about having fun with fashion and embracing the joy and romance of Spring.
Perhaps this is why the floral trend is one that just won't go away ^.^
Be prepared to express your inner lady with floral dresses.
Of course the floral trend is very vintage inspired...
Inspired by decades past, designs of this nature beauty(florals) are the perfect excuse to
celebrate the liveliness of party!
We're going to have an afternoon garden party at my auntie's house to
get the family members together during year end ^.^
I'm in my mom's old dress (again), especially love this sleek sophisticated silhouette.
Bold sleeves, ribbon waist tie at the back with featuring a beautiful frill hem are incredible feminine.
Olive and forest greens incorporate subtle floral prints for a reflection of autumn flower in
their final bloom.
By adding timeless style, vintage floral wear is unique yet fun.
Thus, gorgeous deer hunter necklace and vintage handbag are perfectly spice up the floral prints.
Balance the vintage dress with nude wedges and more than a hint of socks.
Play with nerdy duo tone can be utterly chic.
Again, the vintage inspiration(in floral) getting the best of me.
Can't wait for X'mas! Hope you all have a great X'mas!

Party Prep.

I've got some errands to run and then stop by my friend's house to plan for the year end parties!
To do list: Post Office for mailing, pick up the dry cleaning, grab some foods from grocery store...
While running errands doesn't have to be dress up,
but there's no reason we can't be comfy and chic at the same time ^.^
Leggings are incredible cozy thus always the perfect bottom for a full day of running errands.
An essential layering piece, leggings are one of those wardrobe staple that no girl should be without!
Go for printed leggings if you have too much of basic black.
(yea, I agree black goes great with any outfit) ^.^
Fun, vibrant and effortlessly cool, this tie-dye leggings instantly add interest to everyday style.
Hence, tie-dye make a bold statement in most outfit with it's very unique pattern.
Typography tee are probably my favorite style of t-shirt design. Knowing why?
Typography is a beautiful art form, the process of intricate detail of a word is an art by itself.
Wearing an awesome typo t-shirt is very cool indeed. (again this lovely tee belong to my bf) ^.^
Nice playful type on delivering powerful message is always be his t-shirt collection.
A stylish crossbody bag plus an "errand bag" in typo design to get those errand done in.
Complete the boyish outfit with a pair of classic white sneaker and get ready to tackle with any errand.
Have a great weekend!

Bedtime Story.

Celebrate my best friend's bridal shower with the theme pyjamas (pajamas) party.
Girls are going out for dinner then back home and spend our day for pillow talking (or fighting) ^.^
Sleep wear as street wear, there is certain art to it.
Seductive, sensual and too stylish to keep in the bedroom, let's turn nightwear to daywear.
Elegant pyjamas in slouchy silk or satin have a relaxed and midnight glamour,
but keep the look clean with minimal accessories.
A classic pyjamas set (matching top & bottom) maybe too comfortable to stay in the house.
Though mix and match with contrast elements can pull this off outside the bedroom.
Contrast is the key, pair the pyjamas with something you wouldn't wear on bed to
avoid looking like you literally rolled out of bed and were too lazy to get dressed.
I have got my pyjamas top from Topshop, there have some sweet pyjamas suits in store.
Layered the pyjamas top on a mini dress for a comfortable luxury look.
Probably have to belted it for accentuate the waistline and look more feminine.
Always pair with heels to rock the pyjamas look, is very sexy indeed ^.^
It's important to match a relaxed piece with element that are more polished to
 look style and comfort.
Hey girls, is time for cozy up to bedtime chic!
